Free Music at Work…Grooveshark better than Pandora?

21 August 2008 2,382 views One Comment

It may not matter if Grovveshark is better than Pandora, as Pandora may be shutting their doors soon anyway. So if you’ve been enjoying free music at work from Pandora, learning about new bands, get ready to jump ship and check out this new offering.

Grooveshark allows you to receive suggested music based on your musical preferences, like Pandora, but you can also go back and listen to the song whenever you like. There’s also a very easy search interface allowing you to listen to whatever song you’d like, as long as it’s in its database of over 5 million songs.

Grooveshark seemed very easy to use, and its flash interface was attractive and clean. I’d highly recommend giving this free service a try while your treading water at work.

Thanks so much for the write, Yates! Your kind words mean so much to us, and we’re really just happy to hear that we can help out–we really don’t want Pandora to suffer, either.

We’re gonna keep adding new songs to Grooveshark Lite, keep adding new features, and hopefully keep rocking! Thanks again, Yates, and let me know if there’s ever absolutely anything I can do for you.
