Google Whuh?
That’s what your kids’ kids will say when you told them email had almost been replaced back in 2009. Google Wave has been slated to be shut down as a standalone product, according to Google’s Official blog. Google will continue maintaining the site until the end of 2010, but will not invest additional resources for future innovation of the product.
This will not come as a shocker to many of you who have actually tried to use the product. Low adoption rates and various UI question marks bludgeoned the product’s prospects of succeeding.
