McCain vs Obama: Rethink Government Intervention

22 October 2008 255 views No Comment

So I know that I made McCain look like a fool in my previous post when I compared him to Yahoo!, but I do want to also let you know that information (such as that shown in the video above) is utterly important when considering your Presidential vote. Candidates that support informed policy decisions, whether they know it or not, through voting for a socially conservative economic intervention strategy put the impossible-to-replicate, effective power back into cultural institutions that truly serve as a community’s backbone.

Please make sure to inform yourself and ask the tough questions leading up to this election. As the media’s chokehold on politics gets stronger, it becomes ever increasingly important to get your own grip on the issues from sources that you trust. Remember that both conservatives and liberals want to give charitably to the poor and make America the best example for the world in our respect for each individual life and culture. The difference lies not in who is more charitable, caring, or open (neither side shows consistent signs of merit…they’re all politicians as it were), but rather in how they want to accomplish their tasks.

My vote will go to the candidate that decreases highly wasteful government spending on ineffective campaigns, putting the emphasis to serve America back to actual Americans to give to churches, synagogues, mosques, YMCAs, and the like who can serve communities, in communities, for their communities.
