Phones and Flights Losing Signal Strength

1 August 2008 1,269 views No Comment

Had you hoped to one day hop on a plane and be surrounded by a beautiful buzz of the masses on their cellphones? Did you desire to pay extra for non-phone seating areas on airplanes?

Well, unfortunately, I’m about to dash your dreams. It looks like the first steps of banning cellphone use on airplanes has moved forward in Congress. Increases in polling statistics suggesting that cellphone use on planes will simply be more annoying than helpful continue to be at the forefront of the debate.

It doesn’t appear that WiFI access will be doomed to the same fate though, so keep lugging your laptops into those small seats and open up Google Chat to keep in touch.
