Tired of Boring Flowcharts in Visio? Try ‘Lovely Charts’ on the Web!

Lovely Charts

Lovely Charts is a new diagramming application that focuses on making your charts look better. In our opinion, there are two keys to doing that: first, provide visually appealing icons and second, provide ways of making sure those icons are in alignment.

I don’t really expect that this will be as nearly as full functioning as Microsoft’s Visio- but hopefully it’ll allow you to create attractive visual charts in a hurry. There’s both a free version and a paid version- the paid version really ramps up the feature set and is running at about $55 US per year.

Does anyone have any nice 3D Visio Shape Libraries that aren’t cheesy?
